This is just straight up embarrassing for America. A few floridians were burning a Quran which ignited a spur of protests in Afghanistan. There really isn't much more to say about this other than EMBARRASSING. Although, the middle eastern world has had its fair share of burning Old Glory....

In what ways is burning a US flag like and unlike burning a copy of the Quran?
ReplyDeleteI feel like the flag is much more of a symbol than the Quran is. So in a sense, you are burning something (flag) that might have an intrinisic value to many people. Burning the Quran is like burning the rule book of a society.
