Syria Problems Begin, Big

The Syrian army has started to utilize tanks to disrupt the protests that have plagued the country for the last few months. In my last blog I talked about planning for Syria. The plan needs to start now. Here is a New York Times article about the situation.

  1. I have read your last post but I couldn't find any clue about the plan you are talking about. What do you think the International Community should do about the serious situation in the country? Why does it seem that the world is evaluating Assad's sovereignty as more important than the Gaddafi's one?

  2. CT,
Glad that you called me on this because I should have been more specific in what I was trying to say. What I meant by "planning," was from a U.S military perspective, and more specifically, Obama's plan for what he is going to do about Syria. Ever since 9/11 I have always felt that Syria is one of those countries that is on the verge of being completely taken over by terrorists. I feel as though many Americans have felt this way too especially with all the political unrest that has been going on in the country
